For as long as I can remember, I have had a strong connection to The Other Side, often more ‘there’ than ‘here’. Around the age of five, I vividly recounted past-life experiences as a nun. By my late teens, I’d experienced many sessions of past-life regression. During the late Eighties, I was in a car accident with my teenage friends. I wasn’t wearing a seat belt. As the car careened down a hillside, narrowly missing dozens of trees, rather than scream or be filled with fear, I was at complete peace. Why? I felt the gentle embrace of my Guardian Angel keeping me safe. There’s never been a time in my life where I haven’t had awareness of or connection with angels.
In my daily life, I consciously connect with my Spirit Team (angels, spirit guides and ancestresses). Through experience, I’ve learned that my connection to each of them, like in any human friendship or relationship, is enhanced and nurtured by investing time in companionship, connection and communication, especially through regular meditation. The frequency and vibration in which angels exist is so fine that few people will ever make the time to know them.
As a second-generation astrologer, astrology has been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. During my childhood, I was in awe of my mother’s astrology room: a sacred space I was forbidden to enter. Curiosity is my middle name, and I made it my mission to enter that room whenever my mum headed into town on an errand. The shelves were lined with esoteric tomes. In the centre of the room was the most incredible coffee table I’ve ever seen in my life: black glass with a gold-embossed birth chart. From these early roots, I’ve had a lifetime immersed in spirituality, connecting to Source and symbolism, and the psychological and evolutionary spiral path of zodiacal self-awareness. My articles on psychological astrology have been published in two prestigious international astrology magazines: The Mountain Astrologer and (the late) Dell Horoscopes.
My younger daughter, Eliza, is a third-generation astrologer. My husband is a back-seat-driver astrologer capable of calling across the room phrases like ‘Chiron the Wounded Healer’ or ‘Pluto the dwarf planet’. Astrological vocabulary is part of my daily language and I can physically and emotionally feel when planets change signs.
After the sudden death of my best friend, Pam (also an astrologer), by suicide several years ago, I brought my international astrology practice to a quiet close. My heart needed time to grieve. Earlier this year, Life brought grief my way again with the death of my beautiful, wise and amazing mother. Although the shadows of deep sorrow still permeate my life, a door has opened in my heart. With it, a realisation that my spiritual self doesn’t need to be kept to one side or hidden away. By listening to nudges and prompts from my angelic friends, I am once again available for astrology readings. This will take place via Zoom or in person at my home in the Eden Valley, Cumbria (arranged at a mutually convenient time). Sessions last for 1.5 to 2 hours.
